Burnout Legends brings the series' arcade racing to the PSP, drawing tracks, cars and event types from the earlier console Burnout games. Boost is earned by driving dangerously: oncoming traffic, drifts and near misses fill the meter, and Takedowns let you wreck rivals by slamming them into walls and traffic. The event list covers races, Road Rage bouts focused on wrecking opponents, Burning Lap time trials and Eliminator events, with new cars unlocked as you progress. Crash mode is included, placing you at busy junctions where the aim is to cause the largest possible pile-up, with Crashbreaker explosions to spread the damage further. Races run on public roads with live traffic, and collisions are presented with slow-motion crash cameras.
