A PlayStation action platformer based on the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command animated series. You play as Buzz, moving through 3D levels drawn from the show's science-fiction setting, jumping between platforms, dealing with hazards and using his laser against enemy forces. Progress is mission-based, with objectives to complete in each stage before moving on, and characters from the cartoon turn up along the way. Controls cover running, jumping and shooting, with the camera following Buzz through the environments. Levels vary their layouts and obstacles, mixing straightforward traversal with combat encounters and things to collect. It is a licensed family-oriented platformer of its era, aimed at players who know the series, and runs on PlayStation hardware with a memory card used to save progress.
