Cake Mania Baker's Challenge is a time-management game for the PlayStation 2 in which you run a bakery. Customers arrive and take seats or queue at the counter, each wanting a particular cake, and you move behind the counter taking orders, mixing and baking, adding decoration and delivering the finished item before patience runs out. Juggling several orders at once is the core challenge, since ovens and stations can only handle so much at a time and customers leave if ignored. Money earned between shifts goes toward upgrading equipment and the shop itself, which speeds up baking and lets you handle busier days. Levels are structured as individual working days with earnings targets to meet, and the pace increases as more customer types and cake varieties are introduced.
