Carol Vorderman's Sudoku is a handheld version of the number-placement puzzle game for PSP, fronted by television personality Carol Vorderman. Each puzzle asks you to complete a nine-by-nine grid so that every row, column and three-by-three box holds the digits one to nine exactly once. Difficulty levels range from gentle introductory grids to harder puzzles requiring more advanced deduction, and on-screen tools let you note possible candidates, erase entries and call up hints when stuck. Instructional material explains common solving techniques. The portable format suits short sessions, and puzzles can be picked up and put down between attempts. Additional modes offer timed play and options for competing with another player. The interface is menu-based and controlled with the PSP's buttons and directional controls for moving around the grid.
