A vertical bullet-hell shooter for the PlayStation 2. You select from a roster of characters with distinct weapons and special attacks, then work through stages of increasingly elaborate enemy formations and boss bullet patterns. The scoring system rewards flying near incoming shots, so points build as you skim past danger instead of hanging back at the bottom of the screen. Each character has their own story sequences and voiced dialogue between stages, giving different playthroughs different narrative framing. Play is built around memorising patterns, managing your bomb stock and finding safe gaps in tightly packed fire. Difficulty settings and score chasing form the bulk of the replay value for players who want to improve on a full run.
