A 3D action game in which you play as Hector, a former servant of Dracula who fights his way through castles, forests and other regions using a combo-based melee system. Weapons of different classes, from swords and axes to spears and knuckles, each have their own combo strings, and materials gathered from defeated enemies can be used to forge new equipment. Hector is accompanied by Innocent Devils, familiars that fight alongside him and evolve into different forms depending on the weapon types he uses, providing extra attacks and abilities that also help reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Areas are connected by a map and revisited as new abilities open routes. Bosses punctuate progress, and crafting encourages farming enemies for specific drops.
