Class of Heroes is a first-person dungeon crawler for the PlayStation Portable set at an academy for adventurers. You build a party from scratch, choosing races and classes for each student, then take assignments that send the group into grid-based labyrinths mapped step by step as you explore. Combat is turn-based and menu-driven, with front and back rows determining who can strike and who is exposed. Progress depends on managing spell use, equipment and supplies carefully, since dungeons punish parties that push too deep without a way back. Between expeditions you return to the school to rest, spend earnings, recruit replacements and accept new requests. The presentation leans on character portraits and stat screens rather than cinematics, and much of the appeal lies in refining your party's makeup over long play sessions.
