Crazy Taxi Fare Wars is a PlayStation Portable release that collects two entries in Sega's arcade cab-driving series. In each, you pick a driver and cab, cruise an open city looking for waiting passengers, and follow an arrow to their destinations before the timer expires, earning more money for fast, aggressive driving and stunt bonuses like near misses and long drifts. Alongside the standard timed runs, both games include their own sets of focused driving challenges. The handheld version adds a competitive multiplayer option over local wireless, where two players chase fares against each other and can interfere with the opponent's runs. Controls are mapped to the PSP's buttons and analogue nub, and sessions are short by design, built around beating previous earnings totals.
