Destrega is a one-on-one fighting game for the PlayStation played in fully 3D arenas rather than on a two-dimensional plane. You can run freely in any direction, using the open space to dodge and reposition, which makes ranged attacks central to the combat. Characters fire projectile and energy attacks built from combinations of three attack buttons, letting you shape short, medium and long-range spells on the fly, while close-quarters strikes and throws cover melee exchanges. Arenas contain obstacles and destructible scenery that can block incoming fire, so movement and cover matter alongside timing. Modes include a story campaign with a cast of characters and their own scenarios, plus versus play against a second player or the computer.
