Destroy All Humans is an open-world action game with a satirical 1950s science-fiction setting. You play as Crypto, an alien invader sent to Earth to harvest human brain stems and further his species' plans. On foot you use psychic powers to read minds, fling people and objects with telekinesis, and disguise yourself as humans to move through populated areas without raising alarm, alongside energy weapons that vaporise targets. You can also board a flying saucer to attack from above, levelling buildings and lifting vehicles with an abduction beam. The game is structured around story missions in several themed regions, with side objectives and collectibles that fund upgrades to your weapons and saucer. The tone is comedic throughout, parodying Cold War paranoia and B-movie invasion films.
