Dino Crisis is a survival horror game for the PlayStation. You play as Regina, part of a special forces team sent to a remote island research facility to locate a missing scientist. The mission collapses almost immediately when dinosaurs turn out to be loose in the complex. The game uses fixed camera angles over real-time 3D environments, so rooms can be viewed from dramatic angles while you move through them. Play alternates between careful exploration, keycode and machinery puzzles, and tense encounters with raptors that pursue you between rooms rather than staying put. Ammunition and healing items are limited, and you can mix chemicals to produce different medical effects. Along with firearms you carry tranquiliser darts as an alternative to killing. Choices you make about your teammates lead to different endings.
