Discworld II: Mortality Bytes is a point-and-click adventure sequel set in Terry Pratchett's Discworld. Death has walked away from his duties, so people stop dying properly, and Rincewind is sent off to track him down and put the situation right. You explore hand-drawn locations across the Disc, gather objects, talk to characters through dialogue options and work out how to combine your inventory with the scenery to advance. The presentation is fully animated in a cartoon style with voice acting throughout, Eric Idle again performing Rincewind. Puzzles are built around comic logic and often require carrying items a long way before their use becomes clear, and the Luggage remains close behind. The story is split into chapters that open up new areas as you complete objectives.
