Discworld is a point-and-click adventure game based on Terry Pratchett's fantasy novels. You control Rincewind, a reluctant and largely incompetent wizard, as he is pushed into dealing with a dragon problem in the city of Ankh-Morpork. Play follows the traditional adventure formula: examine scenery, talk to characters through dialogue menus, collect a growing pile of odd objects, and combine or use them in the right places to open up the next part of the story. The Luggage tags along as your walking inventory. Backgrounds and characters are hand-drawn and animated in a cartoon style, and the cast is fully voiced, with Rincewind performed by Eric Idle. Puzzles are wordy and often deliberately roundabout, rewarding thorough exploration of every location.
