Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is the PSP version of the tactical role-playing game Disgaea 2. The main story follows Adell and Rozalin as they set out to confront the Overlord Zenon, with combat on grid-based maps where positioning, unit throwing, team attacks and Geo Panel effects decide the outcome. You build a party by creating units from a range of classes, pass laws in the Dark Assembly to change the rules of the game, and dive into the Item World to strengthen equipment over randomly generated floors. This handheld release adds a separate scenario centred on the self-styled Dark Hero Axel, along with extra characters and other additions to the base game. Levels and stats scale to extreme numbers, so there is substantial content beyond the story.
