Donald Duck Going Quackers is a cartoon platformer in which Donald tries to rescue Daisy from the magician Merlock. Play mixes sections where Donald runs toward or away from the camera in 3D with side-on stretches that handle like a traditional 2D platformer. He can jump, climb, spin attack and slam into enemies and crates, and stages hide items to collect that open up additional content. Several levels are built around chases, keeping Donald sprinting while obstacles arrive quickly. Each world takes its theme from the Disney duck cartoons and finishes with a boss fight. Presentation leans on the animated series style, with expressive character animation and comic set pieces. This is the PlayStation release, played with a standard controller.
