Infinite World is a 3D fighting game based on the Dragon Ball Z series, built in the style of the Budokai games with fights viewed from the side in enclosed arenas. Combat combines melee strings, energy blasts, and ki-consuming special moves, and many characters can transform or fuse into stronger forms. A customisation system lets you equip skills and items to alter a fighter's abilities before a match. Alongside standard versus battles against another player or the CPU, the game includes a story-driven mode that revisits events from the anime, with some segments presented as non-fighting challenges such as flying and driving sequences rather than straight duels. The roster draws on characters from across Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT.
