A 3D arena fighter for the PSP based on the Dragon Ball Z anime. Battles take place in open, multi-tiered stages where you dash, fly and teleport around opponents, chain melee strings into launchers, and spend ki gauges on beam attacks and transformations. The main single-player campaign follows Future Trunks in his own timeline, moving across a world map and taking on encounters that mix familiar Z fighters with villains from the series. Character abilities differ in speed, reach and available transformations, and you can equip customisable ability items to adjust your fighter before a match. Alongside the story mode there are standard versus and survival-style options, plus head-to-head play with another PSP via ad-hoc wireless. Presentation uses cel-shaded models and anime-styled cutscenes.
