Land of the Babes is a third-person action game starring Duke Nukem. Duke is pulled into a future version of Earth that alien invaders have overrun, leaving a population of women fighting to survive, and he sets out to clear the planet level by level. Play is built around exploring linear stages, gunning down alien enemies, and picking up an arsenal of firearms and explosives along the way. Duke keeps up a steady stream of one-liners as you fight, and the game leans on the crude humour and pin-up imagery the series is known for. Levels mix straightforward combat with switch-hunting, hazards and platforming sections, and boss encounters cap off stretches of the campaign. The presentation is aimed squarely at adult players.
