EverQuest Online Adventures is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game for the PlayStation 2, set in the EverQuest world of Norrath and played over a broadband internet connection with the console's network adaptor. You create a character by choosing a race and class, then build them up by fighting monsters, completing quests, gathering loot and improving skills. Much of the game is designed around grouping with other players to tackle tougher encounters and dungeons, with chat and party systems handled through the console interface. Character progression, trade between players and travel across large connected zones follow the conventions of the PC EverQuest games, adapted to a controller. Note that the official servers for this game have been shut down, so online play is no longer available through them.
