Every Extend Extra is an action game for the PSP built around self-destruction rather than shooting. You pilot a craft into crowded formations of enemies and detonate it, and the resulting blast destroys anything caught in range while triggering chain reactions from the enemies it takes out. Longer chains mean higher scores and extra lives, so the game becomes an exercise in waiting for the right moment to explode instead of firing constantly. A timer limits each stage, with pickups extending it, which keeps runs short and score-focused. Visuals and music are tied closely together, with pulsing abstract backgrounds and electronic tracks that react to play.
