This PlayStation 2 version of Family Feud adapts the long-running television survey game for the console. Two families face off to name the answers a survey group gave most often, scoring points for each response on the board and collecting strikes for wrong guesses. Winning a face-off lets your team play the question or pass it, and the opposing side can steal the round by supplying a remaining answer. A concluding fast-answer round puts two players on the clock, asking them to reach a set point total from a run of quick questions. Gameplay is menu-driven, with answers entered or chosen from lists rather than typed freely. It can be played against the computer or with friends alternating turns on the same system.
