Fight Club is a one-on-one fighting game based on the film. Bouts take place in bare-knuckle settings such as basements and car parks, with two fighters trading punches, kicks, grapples and throws in enclosed arenas. Fighters accumulate visible damage as a match goes on, with injuries affecting appearance and performance, and rounds end by knockout or when a fighter can no longer continue. Characters from the film are playable alongside additional fighters, and a create-a-fighter option lets you build your own combatant and develop attributes and moves through single-player play. Modes cover story-driven progression, single exhibition fights and head-to-head matches for two players on one PlayStation 2. Unlockable fighters and arenas are earned by completing fights.
