A PlayStation Portable release of Final Fantasy IV, the turn-based role-playing game in which you play as Cecil, a dark knight who begins to doubt the kingdom he serves. The story moves from the surface world to the underground and further still, with party members joining and departing as events unfold. Each character is tied to a role such as dragoon, white mage, summoner, monk or ninja, so battle tactics change with the lineup rather than through free customization. Combat uses the Active Time Battle system, with each combatant acting when their own gauge fills. Airships and chocobos open up travel across the map, and summoned monsters, elemental crystals and a steady run of boss fights carry the plot toward its conclusion.
