Flushed Away is a PlayStation 2 game based on the animated film of the same name, following Roddy, a pampered pet rat who ends up washed down into a sewer world beneath London. Play is built around action-platforming: you guide the characters through sewer environments, climbing and jumping across hazards, avoiding enemies, and working through objectives drawn from the film's story. Scenes and characters from the movie are recreated in cartoon-styled 3D levels, with cutscenes tying the stages together. The controls and pacing are aimed at younger players, with straightforward combat and movement and frequent checkpoints. If you know the film, the game covers familiar ground in the sewers rather than telling a separate story, making it a companion piece to the movie.
