Luxor: Pharaoh's Challenge is an Egyptian-themed marble-shooter puzzle game, here in a handheld PSP version. Lines of coloured spheres wind along a set path across the screen toward an exit, and you aim a launcher to fire spheres into the chain, clearing any group of three or more matching colours. Well-placed shots set off chain reactions, while letting the spheres reach the end of the path costs a life. Progress moves through a series of stages set against ancient Egyptian scenery, with power-ups dropped by cleared spheres that alter the pace of the chain or clear parts of it outright. Rounds are short and self-contained, which suits portable play, and the difficulty climbs as the chains grow faster and more crowded.
