Medal of Honor Underground is a first-person shooter set during the Second World War. You play as a young French woman who joins the Resistance in occupied Paris and later works with Allied intelligence, taking missions across France, North Africa and elsewhere in Europe. Assignments range from sabotage and document theft to escorting agents and open firefights, and several rely on disguises, forged papers and avoiding attention rather than shooting first. Mission briefings set out objectives that must all be completed to advance. Period weapons, patrolling soldiers, officers and dogs return from the earlier game, along with an orchestral score and archival-style presentation. Bonus content unlocked through play includes additional modes, and a split-screen mode is available for two players.
