NHL Powerplay '98 is a licensed hockey game for the original PlayStation. It plays full five-on-five hockey with NHL teams and players, presented with 3D polygonal skaters and arenas and a selection of camera angles. You pass, check, deke, and shoot with a control scheme that includes deliberate one-timers and dump-ins, while penalties, power plays, and line changes are all in effect. Exhibition matches, season play with playoffs, and practice options are available, along with rule and difficulty settings that let you tune period length and how strictly the game is officiated. Commentary and arena audio run through matches. Rosters and lineups can be edited from the menus, and two players can compete head-to-head on one console.
This listing is for an authentic original disc — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
