This PSP release of Pac-Man World 3 brings the 3D platforming adventure to a handheld. You control Pac-Man as he is pulled into a story involving stolen energy and a scientist's schemes, travelling through themed environments while eating pellets and fruit, jumping between platforms and using moves such as the butt-bounce and rev-roll to break objects and handle enemies. Puzzle solving features alongside the platforming, with switches and machinery to figure out as you progress. The ghosts appear as both opposition and, at points in the story, as allies, and some sections put you in control of a ghost instead. Voiced story scenes link the areas together, and stages build toward boss encounters.
