A vehicular combat game for PlayStation in which Star Wars characters and craft fight one-on-one in enclosed arenas. You pick a machine, drive or hover around the stage collecting weapon and power-up pickups, and try to destroy your opponent using blasters, missiles and special attacks unique to each vehicle. The roster mixes speeders, walkers, pods and other Star Wars hardware with characters drawn from the films, and arenas are themed after familiar locations from the setting. Modes include single-player tournament play against a series of computer opponents, one-off matches, and split-screen two-player battles. Winning fights unlocks additional characters and stages. Play is arena-focused rather than mission-based, with the emphasis on maneuvering, dodging incoming fire and grabbing pickups before your rival does.
