Star Wars Episode I Jedi Power Battles is an action game for the PlayStation in which you fight through levels drawn from The Phantom Menace. You select from a group of Jedi, including Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and each character has their own speed, reach and set of moves. Combat centres on lightsaber attacks and deflecting blaster fire, backed by Force powers that you unlock and upgrade as you progress. Levels move through locations such as the Trade Federation ships, Naboo and Coruscant, mixing waves of droids with platforming sections and jumping hazards. Boss encounters cap off several stages, including duels against lightsaber-wielding opponents. A second player can join for cooperative play, with both Jedi on screen at once working through the same stages.
