Stuntman for PlayStation 2 puts you in the role of a movie stunt driver working through a career on film sets. Each mission is a scene from a fictional film, and you must perform a scripted sequence of driving stunts on cue: hitting ramps, sliding through gaps, crashing through obstacles and keeping pace with the camera car while a director calls out the next instruction. Failing to follow the script or damaging the vehicle too heavily means the take is cut and restarted from the beginning. The films span different genres, each with its own vehicles, locations and set pieces. Completing scenes unlocks additional content, including a stunt arena where you can practise jumps and tricks freely. The emphasis is on precision and repetition rather than open racing.
