Supercross 2000 is a motorcycle racing game for the PlayStation 1 built around supercross, the indoor stadium discipline raced on tight dirt circuits. Courses are packed with jumps, rhythm sections, whoops and banked turns, so success depends as much on timing your landings and keeping the bike settled as it does on outright throttle. Leaning the rider and controlling the bike in the air matter when you are trying to carry speed into the next section. The game offers single races along with longer season-style play, letting you run through a schedule of events rather than one-off races. Riders can wipe out on bad landings or collisions, costing position and momentum. Presentation follows a televised motorsport style, with stadium venues and a crowded starting gate.
