In Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, Tak and his partner Lok compete in a contest of shaman trials. The game is a 3D action platformer built around the pairing: you swap between the two characters, who have different strengths, and many obstacles require using both to get past. Stages mix jumping and traversal with combat and puzzle-driven challenge sections tied to the tournament framing, while juju magic supplies Tak's special abilities. A second player can drop in so each person handles one character. Cartoon visuals, exaggerated creature designs and comedic dialogue carry over from earlier entries in the series. This PlayStation 2 version plays the same as the other console releases, supporting solo or cooperative play.
