Taz Wanted is a 3D platformer starring the Tasmanian Devil. After escaping captivity, Taz becomes the subject of a manhunt led by Yosemite Sam, and wanted posters plastered across each area mark him as a target. Levels are open-ended environments where you complete objectives, cause destruction and tear down or deface posters while avoiding zookeepers and traps. Taz's spin attack is the core move, letting him barrel through scenery, enemies and breakable objects, and he can chew up items to gain temporary abilities. Stages are themed around different locations, each with its own hazards, collectibles and challenges to work through. The presentation follows the Looney Tunes cartoons, with familiar characters, slapstick animation and comic sound effects. Play centres on exploration and knocking over as much of the scenery as possible.
