Dark Resurrection is an updated version of Tekken 5 built for the PSP. It carries over the four-button limb-based fighting system, throws, reversals, sidestepping and juggle combos, with balance changes and new moves for returning fighters. The roster expands on Tekken 5 with additions including Lili and Sergei Dragunov, alongside the established series cast, and characters can be customized with items and outfit pieces bought using in-game money. Modes include arcade, versus, time attack, survival, practice and ghost battle, where you fight AI opponents modelled on player behaviour and climb through ranks. There are also side games separate from the main fighting, plus a gallery of unlockable art and endings. Local wireless play lets two PSP owners face each other directly.
