Test Drive 6 is an arcade racing game for the PlayStation centered on licensed cars driven at speed through course layouts based on real-world cities. Roads are populated with civilian traffic and patrolled by police, so races mix pure pace with weaving through hazards and shaking off pursuit. Handling is arcade-oriented, rewarding aggressive cornering rather than careful simulation driving. Beyond straight races, the game includes cop pursuit events where you take the wheel of a police vehicle and chase down targets, along with a career-style progression that unlocks further cars and courses. Two players can compete in split-screen. A licensed soundtrack plays during events, and multiple camera angles are available, including bumper and chase views.
