The Con is a fighting game for the PlayStation Portable built around an underground fight circuit where money matters as much as fists. Between bouts you take on the role of a hustler working the betting side of the sport, choosing which fighter to back, weighing the odds, and deciding whether to win cleanly or shape the outcome of a match to suit a wager. Fights themselves are one-on-one contests using strikes, blocks and counters, with fighters who differ in style, reach and stamina. Progress comes from building a bankroll and moving up to more dangerous opponents and larger stakes. The handheld format supports short sessions, with individual matches playable in a few minutes. Head-to-head play against another PSP owner is supported.
