The Incredibles is an action game following the plot of the Pixar film across a series of levels. Different stages put you in control of different family members, and the gameplay changes to match their abilities: Mr. Incredible fights with raw strength, lifting and hurling enemies and heavy objects, Dash's sections focus on running at high speed through obstacle courses, and Violet uses invisibility and force fields to slip past danger. The mix includes brawling, platforming and simple puzzles, with boss fights closing out several chapters. Cutscenes and dialogue between levels carry the story forward. Environments are drawn from the film's settings, and the PlayStation 2 version presents them in 3D with a fixed progression through the campaign.
