The Sims 2: Castaway on PSP places your Sim on a deserted island after a shipwreck. Instead of managing a suburban house, you scavenge for food, water and raw materials, build shelter and craft tools, clothing and furnishings from island resources. Needs like hunger, energy, hygiene and fun still drive daily play, met through fishing, cooking, bathing and rest. Exploring the island's different regions turns up new materials, recipes and locations, and other stranded Sims can be found and brought into your camp. Objectives guide you deeper into the island and toward finding a way off it, with crafting options expanding as you make discoveries. Character creation lets you set your Sim's appearance and traits before the shipwreck.
