Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000 is a golf simulation for the PlayStation. You play full rounds on 3D courses using a swing meter to set power and control accuracy, choosing clubs and adjusting aim, spin and shot shape before each stroke. Wind direction, lie and green slope all affect ball flight and roll, and the putting view shows the contour of the green so you can read the break. Tiger Woods is playable along with other golfers, and modes include single rounds, tournament play and skill challenges, plus multiplayer by sharing a controller. The game presents each hole with an overhead map and flyover, and provides distance readouts and club suggestions. Play can be approached casually with the assists on or more deliberately by managing spin and shot shaping yourself.
