TNA Impact is a wrestling game for the PlayStation 2 based on the Total Nonstop Action promotion. It features a roster of TNA wrestlers of the period, including performers such as Kurt Angle, Sting, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, and matches can be fought in TNA's six-sided ring. Combat is arcade-oriented rather than simulation-heavy, built on strikes, grapples, reversals and finishing moves rather than deep submission systems. Modes include exhibition matches for one player or multiplayer, various match types, and a story-driven career in which you build a created wrestler and work through a series of feuds with voiced cutscenes. A creation suite lets you customise a wrestler's appearance, attire and moveset. Presentation includes commentary and TNA-styled entrances and staging.
