Tokobot is an action-puzzle game for the PlayStation Portable. You play as a young explorer who discovers a group of small ancient robots called Tokobots, and they follow you as you make your way through ruins and other environments. On their own the Tokobots can be ordered around to hit switches and clear obstacles, but the core of the game is linking them together into formations that act as tools: stacking them to reach high ledges, forming a bridge across gaps, or combining into shapes used to attack enemies. Progress mixes light platforming with environmental puzzles that require picking the right formation for the situation, and combat sections where the robots do much of the heavy work. Levels are structured around exploration, with hidden areas to find along the way.
