Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return is a platform adventure in which the pink-haired boy Tomba once again takes on the Evil Pigs. It moves the series into 3D environments while keeping the side-scrolling movement of its predecessor, letting you run along paths that curve through the world and step between foreground and background layers. Structure comes from an event system: talking to villagers and exploring areas opens up quests, and completing them earns rewards and unlocks new regions. Tomba jumps on enemies, grabs and throws them, and uses weapons and items found along the way, while special outfits and abilities allow access to places blocked earlier. Areas can be revisited freely as you work through overlapping objectives at your own pace.
