Tron: Evolution on PSP is a handheld entry set in the digital world of the Tron films. You control a program fighting through the Grid, using the identity disc as a thrown and melee weapon against enemy programs, and moving through environments with acrobatic traversal such as running along walls and leaping between platforms. Light cycles appear as well, giving you sections where you speed along the Grid and leave a wall of light behind you. The presentation uses the neon-lined, high-contrast style associated with the series, with glowing surfaces set against dark architecture. The PSP version is built separately from the console releases rather than being a direct port, and it structures its action into combat encounters, vehicle segments and platforming stretches.
