Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins is a side-scrolling action platformer from Capcom for the PSP, continuing the series in which the knight Arthur sets out through demon-infested territory to rescue Princess Prin Prin. Arthur runs, jumps and throws weapons such as lances and axes, and taking a hit strips away his armour and leaves him in his underwear before a second hit finishes him. Levels are built with layered paths and hidden routes, and treasure chests scattered through the stages hold armour, magic and other equipment that expands what Arthur can do. Bosses cap the stages, and the game includes multiple difficulty settings for players who want a gentler run or the punishing challenge the series is known for. Enemies include the zombies, demons and flying creatures familiar from earlier entries.
