Warriors Orochi is a hack-and-slash action game for the PlayStation Portable that combines the casts of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series into one story. The premise brings warriors from both settings together in a single world, and the campaign is divided among several factions, each with its own set of battles. You take a team of three characters into each stage and swap between them at any time, with the two reserves recovering health while off the field. Combat involves cutting through large numbers of soldiers, capturing bases and duelling enemy officers while responding to objectives that appear during the fight. Characters gain experience and weapons, and equipment carries over between stages as you build up your roster.
