This PlayStation release brings the television quiz show to console with another set of questions. The format follows the broadcast version: multiple-choice questions grow harder as you climb the money ladder, and at any point you can stop and keep your current total instead of gambling it on the next answer. Fifty-fifty, phone a friend and ask the audience are available as lifelines, one use each per game. The question pool spans general knowledge topics, and the on-screen presentation, music and lighting mirror the show's studio look. Sessions are short enough to hand the controller around, and several people can play in turn. There is no action or exploration involved; the whole game is answering questions against the clock and deciding when to stop.
