World Soccer Winning Eleven 9 is a football simulation for the PSP, part of Konami's long-running series known elsewhere as Pro Evolution Soccer. Play emphasises deliberate build-up, with manual passing weight, through balls and shooting all governed by how long you hold the button, and player attributes affecting first touch, pace and finishing. You control formations, tactics and substitutions before and during matches, and can adjust strategy on the fly. The game includes club and national sides, with league and cup competitions alongside exhibition matches and training. Player and team editing options let you adjust names, kits and squads. The handheld version supports wireless play against another PSP owner. Match presentation includes commentary and stadium crowd audio, and difficulty settings scale the pace and precision of the computer opposition.
