Worms Open Warfare is a handheld entry in the turn-based artillery series, played on 2D destructible terrain. You command a team of worms and take turns moving, aiming and firing while a clock counts down, using bazookas, grenades, air strikes and stranger weapons to blast chunks out of the landscape and knock opponents into the water. Utilities such as the ninja rope and jetpack help you reach better firing positions. Wind direction affects projectile flight, so lining up a shot means reading the conditions as well as the terrain. The PSP version supports single-player play against computer opponents plus multiplayer between systems, and lets you customise elements such as team names and match settings before a battle starts.
