This is the original Xbox release of Barbie Horse Adventures: Wild Horse Rescue, a riding game set across open countryside areas. You control Barbie on horseback, trotting and galloping along trails and through fields, guiding your horse over jumps and around obstacles while carrying out tasks connected to finding and helping horses. Away from riding, stable sections let you groom and feed your horse and change its tack and appearance. Missions are short and clearly explained, with a difficulty level pitched at younger players and an emphasis on free riding and exploration rather than strict timing. The story is told through simple dialogue scenes with a small cast, and the visuals favour bright, open outdoor environments. Controls use the standard Xbox pad.
